The application

HOMi brings property discovery, rental applications, digital contracts, payments, and maintenance into one web platform. Separate experiences help tenants find and manage a home, landlords manage their properties, and service providers handle maintenance requests.

What it does

Property search, filters, saved homes, and viewing requests.
Rental applications and contract signing workflows.
Wallet and Paymob payment integration, with payment history.
Maintenance coordination, real-time messaging, and roommate matching.

How it works

A React and TypeScript client connects to a modular Express API. Sequelize manages PostgreSQL data; Redis supports caching and sessions; Socket.IO delivers real-time events. Authentication, properties, contracts, payments, and maintenance are organized into separate backend modules.
